12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Guaranteed hours: 36

Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday on Day Shift and either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday on night shift to follow unit patterns). Every other Holiday (Days holidays are: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Nights holidays are: Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day Eve, the 3rd of July Nights, and Labor day Eve).

Floating to other units/departments: Could float to another gen/med unit (Nephrology, Oncology, Ortho, Adult medical Surgical, Surgical, Rehab, Cardiac 5 G) These are all general medical units that any of our staff could float to.

Dress Code: Scrubs- no certain colors, just matching and professional, tattoos and nose rings covered while on duty
