Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Emergency Department experience is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

May be scheduled at Biddeford or Sanford Campus.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours.

Weekend Hours: As needed.

Call Requirements: 2 on call shifts per 8 week schedule period.

Years of Experience: Prefer at least 2 years ED experience.

Float Requirements: May be scheduled at either Biddeford or Sanford campuses.

Education Modules: All pertinent learning modules as assigned per hospital policy.

Patient Ratios: Vary

Equipment: General ED equipment.

Must Have Skills/Experience: General ED experience.

Preferred Skillset/Experience: All areas of ED nursing.

Scrub Color: Any

Will be scheduled to fill in any holes necessary throughout the scheduling period, including weekends up to contracted hours.

Expected to follow hospital policies including but not limited to completion of annual skills fair, learning modules, 1 day orientation, proper patient identification protocols with 100 percent compliance.
