Requirements

Experience

6 months of travel experience is required.

60 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

24 months of experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hour: 36

Every other weekend requirement

5 years’ experience in med surg tele or 3 years of tele experience is required

Must have completed 2 travel assignments in 300+ bed facilities OR have previous experience at any UVMHN acute care facility

Telemetry certification is preferred

NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, telemetry strip interpretation all done by bedside.

No block schedules for any reason
