Requirements

Experience

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

BSN completion required

1 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Total # of Hours Per Week: 3-4-3-4 schedule (no 3's, non 4's)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Float requirement: Yes to areas within acuity

Scrubs: Navy Bottom + White Top or All White. Navy Bottom = Dark Shoes or All White = White Shoes.

EFM is Required: NYP only accepts EFM from: • Perinatal Quality Foundation (PQF)- quick

• National Certification Corp (NCC)

NYP doesn’t accept EFM from: • Associate of Women’s Health, Obstetric Neonatal Nurse (AWOHNN).

Willingness to Float to Units Appropriate for Skillset

Cornell requires experience at a teaching hospital
