Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.

Special Requirements: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi experience required. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response

Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy;

Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration. Required Neurological Case;

CVA, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain Injury. Required Orthopedic; Manage/apply splints. Required Pediatric Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal pain, Asthma, Head injury, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Skin Disorders.

Required Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: Acute Psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Suicidal patient. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tube insertion/management, Intubation.

Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Triage.

Scrub Color: Any solid color

RTO – we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler.
