24 months of Direct Observation Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.

Additional Details:

Job Duties: The Observation unit cares for adult patients needing additional observation to determine if the patient's condition is serious enough for admission to the hospital or if the patient can be treated and released home safely. The Observation unit is a very fast paced environment that turns over 20 to 27 patients per day, with an average length of stay of 27 hours. Care for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. These patients will range from short stay to full admissions.

Two (2) Med/Surg Experience and Telemetry experience required.

All candidate submissions are D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Every Other Weekend, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit. No straight day shifts, travel pairs requiring the same schedule, or special requests. Any RTO not included on your application will NOT be considered.
