Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Shift: days or day/night rotate; Unit does self-scheduling via a scheduling committee. Blocked scheduling is open for discussion.
Weekend Requirements Averages to every other weekend.
Holiday Requirements Travel RNs will be added to the holiday rotation along with permanent staff

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Bradycardia, A-fib, SVT, CHF, CAD, NSTEMI, PVD, PE, CVA/TIA, post-operative VATS, post-operative lobectomy, post-operative wedge resection, chest tubes, tracheotomy (no vents), TAVR, post-op day 1 CABG patients (admitted to ICU post-op then come to CVSD next day)
Experience or 'Must have' skills Epicardial pacing, chest tubes
Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes, titrate per ordered parameters
