Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
• Every other weekend.
• Weekend Hours: Shared Weekends.
• Float Requirements: Special Care Nursery.
• Patient Ratios: Strive for AWHONN Standards.
• EHR: Centricity, Perinatal, Meditech.
• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult, newborns.
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Antepartum, Intrapartum, Post-Partum, circulating for C Sections, PPBTL, D&Cs, management of hemorrhage.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Antepartum, Intrapartum, Post-Partum, Pre-eclampsia, inductions, C sections
• Required Education: ADN or BSN.
• Scrub Color: Any.
• Any unacceptable attire: No jean or camo scrubs.
