Experience

24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours 36

Shift: Rotating days/nights (shift & schedule preferences will be accommodated as able but not guaranteed) EOW/EOH, no call

Resource Team - Float Pool - RN Med Surg needed to help in various units/locations in Fargo, as needed.

All med-surg units on Broadway and SMCF campuses, including med-surg overflow spaces and med-surg status patients within the critical care units. Med-surg specialty units include oncology, general med-surg, trauma med-surg, cardiac, neuro, observation, medical behavioral, and innovations.

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: Ranges from 24-47 depending on the unit

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:4-5 from 7a-11p & 1:5-6 from 11p-7a

Required skills and minimum years of experience: Min 1 year recent MS experience in a busy large hospital, min 200 beds. Previous float pool experience preferred.
