Additional Details:

EOW is required, the alternating weeks will be M-TH (3 shifts at random, manager will try to provide up front for traveler to make this more of a blocked schedule for them)

Required Experience: Level II Hospital setting supporting OP, IR, ER, IP - this is a busy department

Required Certs: ARRT Advanced. BLS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.

Scrub Color: Any (no reddish orange permitted)

RTO: Aya Offer: < 5 Days. Client Offer: > 5 Days. *Anything more than 5 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around, please limit total RTO requests.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

Candidates may be asked to float within hospital or to a sister hospital nearby.

All travelers are expected to float. Travelers regularly float between various like units, within skill set.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Please notify of BG or Nursys hits at time of submittal; can submit with BG/Nursys hits, but must present to client for written approval.

Return Staff Policy: 3 month rule to return as traveler

Modules:

  • Modules are completed pre-start, and annually
  • Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
