Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Endoscopy experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Shift: Day/Evening, including weekends and occasional call

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Graduate of accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.

Two or more years' experience as an Endoscopy RN in a comparable medical center (500+ beds, Level 1 trauma, tertiary/quaternary medical center)

Must have 1 or more years telemetry or ICU experience prior to working in Endoscopy

The most frequent diagnoses are pain, bleeding, polyps, abnormal lab value, common bile duct stones, dysphagia, and pulmonary infiltrate. Procedures particular to this area include: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, Manometry, 24-hour pH studies--Bravo Capsule, Enteroscopy, and Endoscopic U/S.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday and working holiday’s 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
