MFM Ultrasound Technician

Shift: 7 am – 4 pm M-F (30 or 60 min lunch, depending on patient needs)

Weekend coverage only when patients scheduled, will know on Friday if ultrasound coverage is needed for weekend. Rotation every 2nd or 3rd weekend (negotiable).

Qualifications: OB/GYN registered by ARDMS, 5+ years ultrasound experience in OB/GYN.

Candidate will work in our Women’s Reproductive Medicine Clinic. They will work with two other RE ultrasound techs and work closely with RE providers and support staff. Will perform early 1st trimester OB ultrasounds, GYN exams (Transvaginal or Transabdominal), Follicle Assessments, Saline Infusion Sonography and ultrasound guided embryo transfers.

Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging, Allied Health Certificate/Diploma or a minimum of one year equivalent work experience is preferred.

Dress Code: Grey or charcoal scrubs

High risk obstetrical experience of 2 years desirable but not required. Experience in multiples and detecting birth defects. Knowledge in performing Detailed or Targeted anatomical surveys which includes evaluating fetal hearts per AIUM’s detailed protocol. Voluson E10 equipment experience desired but not required.

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
