Population/Unit: Units included in float pool: Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU - Up to ratios -1:2, 1:4, 1:5
Required Skills: Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Arterial Line Management, Central Lines, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive Drips, BiPAP/CPAP, Ventilated Patients & Management, Interpretation of ABG's, Suctioning, Isolation Precautions
Cook is a mandatory float facility.
Floating: PLEASE READ - Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. If your clinician refuses to float, they will be subject to cancelation. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units if needed.
RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.

You will not interview with the hiring manager if the facility chooses to extend an offer to you for this position. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
