Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Wound / Ostomy Care experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours 40

Shift: Varied starts btwn 7a-10a, varied days Mon-Sat

Weekend Requirement: can work Saturdays, but will not be scheduled on Sundays

First to Float

Beds Cover the entire hospital

Ratios 3 Wound Care Nurses scheduled each day with staggered start times (treat approximately 45-60 patients/day)

Common diagnosis / Types of patients Patients that require wound care treatments

Ostomy experience highly preferred

Additional Notes In addition to MedSurg experience or other, must have at least 3 year of experience in Wound Care in the hospital setting.
