Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

10 months of Bone Marrow Transplant Unit experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

D/N or Nights

Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit.

Schedule: No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule. The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend. Must be flexible. Maximum 7 days RTO (Requested Time Off).

Experience: Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred.

Patient Diagnoses: • Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) • Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult) • Amyloidosis • Aplastic Anemia • Chronic Leukemia • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) • Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia • Hodgkin's Lymphoma • Multiple Myeloma • Myelodysplastic Syndrome • Myeloproliferative Disorders • Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Special Procedures/Unit Details: • Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells. • Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin. • Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor. • CAR-T Therapy

Skills Required: • MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) • Telemetry monitoring • Interpretation of dysrhythmias • Use of Rapid Response Teams • Feeding tube care and management • Blood product administration • Central line blood draw • Peripheral line care/management • PICC line management • Nasal cannula administration

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more.
