Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Bone Marrow Transplant Unit experience is required from any number of months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a District of Columbia license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Holiday Comments: Clinical Candidates must work the entire shift of the night before the holiday for the Holiday rate to go into effect; that is, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)

Pending DC license accepted but MUST have license prior to start date

Certs Preferred: BSN

Skill Required: Administer Chemo, Telemetry , IV Starts

Considering: BMT/HEME/MED Oncology Experience, and or Strong Med Surg Experience

Weekends Shifts per Contract: Roughly every other but depends on the needs of the unit

Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

The nurse's initial schedule will be made based off of the needs of the unit. For future schedules, the nurse will be able to give preferences and the manager will create/balance the schedule accordingly with the needs of the unit and the requests of the other nurses.

Scrubs not provided; Any Color without other hospital logos
