Experience

3 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Observation Unit /Inpatient -Aspirus Wausau

No Early start dates we be accepted. This is a new unit that will not be open until 5/19

Shift Requirements: Days/nights variables

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 48hrs . OT after 48 hrs worked

Float to all inpatient units as needed

On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance

Unit Information: Background in observation units, or step-down MS/Tele units. Ability to read and interpret strips is required. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance

Observation unit. Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, CHF, Dehydration, pre -op, Urology and GI, Drips (Drips include, but not limited to: Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin) Average stay up to 48 hrs. High amount of admissions and discharges
