24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.

This position will not take local candidates.

EKG exam is required.

This unit requires a minimum of 2 years CVICU experience as an RN, current experience recovering immediate post-op CABG’s and TAVR’s and current experience managing Swan catheters.

Navy blue scrubs

Nurse-Patient Ratio: Ratios: 1/1-3, acuity dependent. 1/1 for fresh post-op’s and 1/2-3 for more stable patients.

Patient Population: Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU

All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.

Education Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)

RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
