Requirements
Experience
24 months of Pediatric Emergency Department experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
PALS (Required)
TNCC (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a teaching facility and recent travel experience preferred.

Parking Paid parking options available on site. MetroRail transportation available if preferred.

No artificial/gel/powder nails are allowed per TCH's policy.

TCH requires any clinician that is or were perm staff to wait 6 months before applying for a traveler position. Please note this timeline may vary slightly because this timeline is based on the units discretion.

Nurses will be cross trained and will float to Acute Care Woodlands, in extreme circumstances nurses will be asked to work at West or Main campus if necessary but this is only in extreme conditions.

Shifts: Mids/Evenings (3p-3a), Night (7p-7a).
