Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

UW Health requires TWO TB SKIN TESTS (PPDs) for onboarding. BLOOD TESTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED 1st PPD must be uploaded NO later than one week prior to start date (and must be dated within 12 weeks prior to start date). 2nd PPD must be uploaded within 30 days from start date (please note- assignments may be terminated if traveler does not meet compliance within 30 days).

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Holiday Coverage Required: Yes

Shift Information: Day/Evening, 12 hour shifts, Working 0700-1930, every other weekend, some holidays, no call.

CVICU experience required

Experience and knowledge of NextStage CVVH machine required

Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area preferred

Traveler must have completed two years of acute care (MS/MS/Tele or PCU) experience within last 3 years due to floating requirements.

Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital within the last year.

Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.

Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).

Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.
