Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Assignment for 26-32 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36

M/S IP Psych, must be flexible with 8/12H shifts; Will rotate shift times as needed, days/nights. may have to switch between S3S to S6; 36hrs for this position only. must be willing to float to ED Psych.

Training for Management of Aggressive Behavior (CPI, MOAB, etc pref).

Verbal De-escalation training and prior exp. in large teaching facility required.

Charge exp required.

Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Schizoaffective, Schizophrenia, Psychosis, etc. ECT, Post-ECT recovery monitoring, U/A drug Screen Collection, COVID testing collection, Emergency Involuntary Procedures, Court Ordered Medication Seeking candidate with Adolescent Psych experience.

Monday to Sunday

IVS to offer.

No block schedules for any reason.

Public Transportation is not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
