Experience
22 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Additional Details:

Level 2 Trauma facility with a comprehensive stroke center and advanced cardiac/open heart program admitting ICU and CVICU patients.

Float Requirement: Yes, to units of equal or lesser acuity

Weekend Coverage: Every other; every third

Skills Required: Surgical ICU, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, IV insuline protocols, Chronic/acute renal failure, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IVs, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, hypothermia protocol, Assist with management of CPAP/BiPAP, care of ventilated patient, HFNC, interpretation of ABGs, suctioning, ventilator management, infection prevention, isolation precautions, surgical wounds with drains/wound vac

We are a general ICU with mixed patient population including medical, surgical, cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, neuro, neuro surgical, trauma.

Trauma level 2, stroke certification +

Modules are completed onsite during orientation

Modules are recorded via transcripts
