Requirements

Experience

Travel experience is required.

22 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Information

Additional Details:

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)/Day 3x12-Hour (07:30 - 19:30)

Block Schedules: No

Patient Age group: Adults, Geriatrics

Common diagnosis of patients include: Oncologic Emergencies, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), pneumonia, Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), Gastrointestinal bleed, neuromuscular disease, drug overdose, consequences of oncologic treatment, pulmonary hypertension, autoimmune disorders and sepsis.

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
