Additional Details:

36 hours per week.E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday.

Required Exp: 2+ years recent acute care experience, MUST HAVE SURGICAL STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE AT A LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTER

IMCU/Stepdown experience, auto med dispensing and more than 1 previous travel assignment. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. Tele test and CC Med test on day 1.

Preferred Exp: Tertiary facility experience. Unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients.

38 beds with an average patient ratio of 1:3, 1:4 or 1:4-5 if MedSurg patients.

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
