Additional Details:
Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.
Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Required skills and minimum years of experience: Preferably Critical Care Experience
Call shift requirements: 3 overnight call shifts in 6 weeks week plotter. No worked weekends. Work shifts vary 8 hours, 10 hrs, 12 hrs in length.
Floating: Do not float outside of recovery room area, only within our 5 PACU’s on site
OSF Healthcare SFMC and CHOI care provide Phase I Recovery for approximately 80-90 including pediatrics. We care for general and complex surgeries/procedures. Level 1 Trauma center care for/board ICU patients awaiting bed in hospital. Also care for cath lab procedures who have anesthesia- including TAVR, ablations, pace makers.
Dress Code: Surgical Scrubs provided by the facility
Unit/department specific training and orientation program: Acute level care- ICU equivalent. Will be orientated to main PACU areas.
