Travel Allied (Cath Lab / Interventional Technologist) - Cardiac Cath Lab

Shift times: days; variable with variable start time between 0600-0800 for 10 hour shifts (start time typically 0600 and will schedule in advance start time if not 0600 based on department needs).

Schedule cycle: 6 week schedule posted in advance.

Minimum call requirements are 1 night/week and 1 weekend/month (roughly every 4th weekend).

Call hours are 1630-0600 for weekdays and 0600-0600 for weekends. Fair and equitable call rotation between core staff and traveling staff.

Weekends consist of Friday-Saturday coverage.

Manager interview unit.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Diagnostic/interventional, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention, loop recorders.

Skills required: Experience with above cases, scrub and operate table simultaneously.

Monitoring experience preferred.

-PACS: Picom. -Hemodynamic: Merge – experience preferred. -C-arm: GE Alea – experience not required.

Floating: If yes, where? Potential to float to our admit/recovery area to support as needed (this may be rare as we plan to keep in cath lab for procedural needs).

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Call only; minimum requirement is one weekend per month.

On call? If so, what is that schedule? Minimum requirement is one night per week and one weekend per month.

Holiday Expectations: Call only; based on department need.

Clinical Interviewing Services participants only: RTO: As part of our program, we approve up to 7 days of RTO, if the traveler is willing to extend their contract to accommodate. Are you comfortable with this? NM to approve.

Scrub Color: Provided, will provide lead as well. Scrubs have extended sizing, but extended sizing not available for lead.
