Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Will be required to float to Inova Loudoun – 30 miles from falls church (for full shift, never mid)

7p-7a with availability to wor 7a-7p if needed

36 or 48hr guarantees

Must have level III or IV NICU experience. Level 3 must include small baby experience and at minimum comfort with NIPPV SIPAP CPA (with no support needed)

Must be able to titrate drips.

Must have 2-3 years of solid level III or IV NICU experience

Must have CPAP/bubble cpap, siPAP experience- Prefer vent, oscillator/jet experience (please note how much experience with these)

Would prefer experience in 40 bed units and above- our NICU is very fast-paced & tends to have high acuity- you should be comfortable “hitting the ground running”

Ok with first time travelers

Must be comfortable with most levels of acuity

Must be prepared to take most level of respiratory support without any support from another team member (CPAP, SiPAP, NIPPPV)- should feel comfortable caring for & changing gear without guidance

Weekends- Every other weekend,

Must float to PEDS if needed. (PICU, PIMC, or peds M/S)

Holidays-every other holiday.

Ratio- 1:1-3 in ICU, 1:3-4 in IMC.

Navy blue tops/pants, can also wear pediatric friendly tops
