Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.

Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

1 reference must be from current manager.

Please note, time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.

Required:

2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit

Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment.

Shift Information:

Start Time: 1900

Weekend: 3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period

Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.

On call, weekends and holidays may be required.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Floating: Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location, and to all areas in which they are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities)

Scrubs: Required - not provided by the facility

RTO: No holiday RTO will be approved for the traveler

Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
