Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Holiday Requirement Rotate in with core staff

First to Float between Bryan and College Station campus (16 minutes apart) as needed

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Primary surgical, ortho, and trauma unit. Elective surgeries, total joints, bariatric surgery-sleeves, bypasses, Roux-en-Y, general, trauma, lots of CCU, take COVID-non symptomatic, hospice/palliative, SI-more severe attempts(shooting, hanging)
