Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

Additional Details:

Assignment for 20-32 weeks

Guaranteed Hour: 36

Must be flexible with 8/12H shifts; Will rotate shift times as needed, days/nights; No block schedules for any reason.

Shep 3 & 6 – In Patient Psychiatry: M/S IP Psych; May have to switch between S3S to S6

Must be willing to float to ED Psych

Patient population: Depression, PTSD, anxiety, bipolar, schizoaffective, schizophrenia, psychosis, etc. ECT, post-ECT recovery monitoring, U/A drug screen collection, COVID testing collection, emergency involuntary procedures, court ordered medication.

A minimum of 2 years of inpatient psych experience required to submit; Charge experience required

Prior experience in large teaching facility required; Seeking candidate with adolescent psych experience.

EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

BLS and CPI or MAB required; Verbal de-escalation training

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
