Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Cerner is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Every other weekend requirement

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved- NO EXCEPTIONS

Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.

50% of holidays on contract is required.

Floating is required and mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area at UMHS as a Patient Observer (PTOB) – “Sitter.” PCU may float to MS or ICU units
