Requirements
Experience
24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

with 6 weekends in a 6-week schedule block.

Float: Float to adult MS Cluster Floating is required and mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area at UMHS as a Patient Observer (PTOB) – “Sitter.”

ICU may float to PCU or MS units

PCU may float to MS or ICU units

MS may float to MS/Tele

Pediatrics may float anywhere in the organization as a Patient Observer (sitter)

Post-Partum may float to MS units

L&D may float within Maternal/Child

Work 50% of holidays that fall within contract. RTO not granted for holidays but will work with traveler on which holidays they want to work to meet their 50% requirement.

50% of weekends on contract required

will accept first time travelers!

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved- NO EXCEPTIONS
