Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

Assignment for 16-26 weeks

Radius: $85: 51-100 miles Local: $80: 50 miles or less

Psych RN to work in the ED: Position is strictly Psych. No call but every other weekend, or the equivalent, and floating required.

Nurse should be skilled, experienced traveler motivated by compassion, committed to safety, shared responsibility and culturally sensitive. Acute and chronic psych patients, range in age from pediatric to geriatric. Criteria for admission to psych units include, but not limited to, danger to self or others. Patients may require medical intervention, along with their psych symptoms.

Requirements: ProAct, or MOAB

Prior travel OR acute psych in large teaching facility required

Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday

No block schedules for any reason

This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit. Please ensure all employment gaps over 30 days are explained

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
