Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Maine Medical Center requires all candidates to have at least 1 year of Facility Trauma Level 1 experience to be considered.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): mostly every other weekend

• Call Requirements: no

• Float Requirements: To any med/surg tele unit

• Must Have Skills/Experience: telemetry, dilt gtts, amiodarone gtts, insulin, Lasix and bumex gtts. Chest tubes, vac dressings, cardiac catherizations, pacemakers

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Stroke patients

• Type of Patients on Unit: Medical telemetry. Ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes
