Experience
12 months of Operating Room experience is preferred.
Experience with Cerner is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

No RTO will be approved during the following dates:
- Halloween: 10/30 - 11/3
- Thanksgiving: 11/26 - 11/30
- Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: 1/19 - 1/20
- Valentine's Day: 2/13 - 2/16
Position is for Vascular OR RN, must have strong vascular & neuro skills*
Patient Types: Minimal Peds (typically Ortho)
Required Skills:
- STRONG experience in Trauma (no burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, General, Ortho spine, Ortho (must have total joint experience), Gyn, vascular (Endovascular as well), urology, robotics for both General and Neuro, Plastics, breasts, eyes
- RN: circulate only, experience in above case types
- Prefer robotics experience (Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI)
- Open Heart – CVOR? Staff specifically CVOR? How many? 2 would be asked for CVOR if needed.
- Distinguish between Cardiovascular and Vascular experience. CV = open heart. Vascular is peripheral.
Orientation: 2 weeks on day shift, expected to take buddy call while on orientation
Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: on call
- On call? If so, what is that schedule? 1 day a weekday, one weekend a month (Friday 3p-7a, Saturday 24 hours, Sunday 24 hours.)
- 30 min response time
- Holiday Expectations: Expected to work a holiday per contract
