Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Alaska license

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

Additional Details:

Patient Ratios – 1:3 variable by census and acuity

Type of equipment – GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vac., Koala IUPC

EMR – Epic and CPN connect

On Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule

Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing

Must have OR circulator experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE

· Be stork nurse and transition baby at delivery

AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification

Floating Area(s):

· If needed would float to Mom-Baby unit

Dress Code:

· Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provided royal blue scrubs (would change in the facility)
