Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is preferred from any number of months.

13 months of Oncology Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Additional Details:

Shift Information: M-F ( hours as early as 0700-1530 to as late as 0830-1700). No Weekends or Holidays.

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Must have either bio/chemo or fundamentals course from ONS ( this is a 2 year certification to administer chemotherapy)- or able to complete within 2 weeks of hire.

Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participates as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
