Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

8/19 START - Preferred, 9/9 back up; 1/4/25 END - preference will be given to those ending this date

Guaranteed Hours 36

Weekends and Holidays: Required in rotation.

Holiday Requirement: May request 1 major holiday off

Call: As Needed

Number of Beds: 30

Neuro/Tele - mostly Stroke & Seizure Patients

Types of Pts: Wide range, consisting of post-ictal seizure patients, new strokes with q2 hour neuro checks, s/p TPA/TNK, s/p craniectomies/burrholes, elective VEEG patients where seizure are induced on the unit, amiodarone/diltiazem drips, s/p cardiac caths, s/p PM/ICD placement, s/p ablations, IVIG, plasmaphoresis. Overflow MedSurg patients, as needed.

Certs: plus 8 hours of neuro education annually. Should be well versed in cardiac arrythmias and are up to date on EKG competencies.
