Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Emergency Department experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Block scheduling can not be guaranteed.

If you require an interview with the manager, please make a note of it in your special requests.

36-hour guarantees only (no 48s) – can pick up additional shifts

Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule.

Time Off - Ensure dates make sense for the required start date and are 5 days or less. Include within the attached profile/resume. All RTO needs to be in at time of submission.

Must have at least two years ER experience with trauma Level I and II accumulative experience in the past three years. If only level III, or lower, cannot accept CLN.

Gun shot wound/stabbing experience.

Ratios: 1:5 medical, 1:6 for fast track.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Any and all emergency needs.

Common drips: ICU gtts- for hold patients, ICU will come to help with these if able.

RN must read own tele, also have monitor tech as well.

No phlebotomy- ED techs will do labs or RNs can draw off IV starts.

Weekend Requirements: 4 weekends shifts per 4 week block.

Holiday Requirements: Typically 2 of the 5 (count the eves).

Floating Requirements: Shared schedule with Foothills- typically scheduled ahead of time, infrequent last minute floating.15-minute drive to Foothills freestanding ER.
