Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Scheduling requirements: every other weekend. Holiday requirements

Floating policy: Nursing staff will float to other Medical-Surgical Units in the hospital as needed with priority focus on pulling to Intensive Care Units.

Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside hand-off reporting, completion of “My Care Board” during hand-off report; use of AIDET with a focus on compassionate connected care.

Must have: Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients, ICU experience, Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, desire for excellence, self-motivated, good communication and people skills, ability to work in a diverse environment.

Advanced skills needed: Ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, thorough and accurate assessment skills, and proficient knowledge with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems, and Don and Doff of PPE.

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

• Ceil blue scrubs
• White or ceil blue scrub jacket optional
• If working with COVID patients, green surgery scrubs will be provided upon arrival to unit.
