Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Additional Details:

Prefers candidates to have experience in Cardiac ICU and experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters & Intra Aortic Balloon Pump.

Must work 2 of the 3 (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Year’s Day)

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.

Weekend Hours: every other weekend.

Float Requirements: All ICU or PCU units

Equipment: SWAN, IMPELLA, IABP, ARTIC SUN (Target Temperature Management), ZOLL IVTM (Target Temperature Management), EKOS, CADD, Alaris IV Pumps, Peritoneal dialysis, Prismax.

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Additional Cardiac pumps – swan, balloon & CRRT.

Type of Patients on Unit: Medical & Cardiac ICU patients.

Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue tops/bottom/jackets. Black scrub bottoms only.
