Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Oregon license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

On Call required.

Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Labor, Pre Term Labor, Pre-eclapmsia, Substance Use Disorders, Hyperemeis Gravidum, Pyleonephritis, Gestational Diabetes,Transient Tachypenea of the Newborn.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Couplet Care, Mother Baby

RNs are required to titrate drips. Common titratable &/or set rate drips Heparin, Insulin, Oxytocin, Epidurals, Magnesium Sulfate.

Weekend Requirement: Every Other

Holiday Requirement: 1 major, 1 minor, 1 difficult to staff

Scrub Color/Dress code: Hospital provided

Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 day hospital orientation, 1 shift orientation on unit
