Requirements
Experience
24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Monday-Friday 0500-2030 No holidays, no weekends.

Call requirements - 1 week night per 3 weeks and 1 weekend per 12 weeks.

Experience:

• PACU/Recovery room experience required.

• Pre-op and phase II Post-op RN assistance required.

RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off).

Floating: Travelers are the first to float. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete contract.
