Requirements
Experience
36 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

Advanced AWHONN FHM (Preferred)
Vaccinations

Guaranteed Hours 36

L&D Beds: 7 L&D

Postpartum beds: 12 Postpartum, 8 Surgical

OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 1 C-Section dedicated OR, 2 GYN surgical OR

Triage beds: 3 bay triage (avg 17 patients/ month) allow travelers to triage based on experience

Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? L&D: 1:1-2, Postpartum: 1:2-3 couplets, 1:3-4 surgical/medical

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Obstetric, L&D, antepartum, triage, postpartum MgSo4, pre E Pregnancy, accept 23+ weeks; Gestational hypertension, Gestational diabetes, No cardiac intervention- they will take occasional higher risk patients, Post partum vaginal and c-section deliveries, hysterectomy, bladder repairs, mastectomies

3 days or less RTO - no holiday time off for crisis need
