Experience

36 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours 32

Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week 1515-0645

Weekend/Call Requirements: every 3-4 weeks Fri 1515-Mon 0645

Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holidays- must be willing to work holidays

What is call response time? 15 minutes, 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call, sleep room available - housing should also be available nearby to make call

Floating Requirements: MUST BE WILLING to cross train into other specialties if CV volumes are low. Staff must be willing to float to the floor as "helping hands" or 1:1 sitter; they do not take patients but help with whatever the floors need at the time. first to float

Suites: 2 CVOR suites

Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneurysm) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must be willing to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low, 3 years of CVOR experience Open Hearts, CABG, Valves

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
