Monitor Tech-Health Unit Clerk (HUC)

Rotating every other weekend.

REQUIRED to measure intervals on each strip using calipers. during a closed book Arrhythmia exam at the conclusion of orientation- if they do not pass the contract will be terminated. CMR At UConn Health this class is accountable for performing a full range of general clerical functions or for carrying out responsibility for the flow and completion of clerical work in an assigned area. This position will work in the Central Monitoring Room in the UConn Health University Tower in Farmington, CT.

Experience and Training : 6 months general clerical work experience & Verifiable Monitor Tech experience must be in packet.

PREFERRED: • Current EKG monitoring certification and/or telemetry experience.

Clerical experience in an inpatient acute care hospital unit.
