Travel Nurse (RN) - Infusion Center

RTO Policy:

• RTO of up to 10 consecutive days can be sent for approval. If all days are approved, an additional week will be added on to the end date of the contract.

• RTO during the initial 2 weeks of the assignment is an automatic declination, DO NOT REQUEST.

• RTO during the week of a holiday is an automatic decline, NO NOT REQUEST.

No block scheduling is allowed.

Thompson has 7 infusion centers across east TN. The primary assignment will be at the Maryville infusion center on Monday/Tuesday, Lenoir City infusion center on Wednesday/Thursday, and either Downtown or Oak Ridge on Fridays. You also may be required to float to other centers.

Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date

Must have chemotherapy experience and ONS fundaments or chemo/bio certificate

Chemotherapy administration experience is required. ONS Chemotherapy Administration Fundamentals or ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate required.

Shift: M-F 8A-4:30P or 9A-5:30P

Unit Description: Oncology Infusion Center

NO Major holiday RTO requests, including holiday weekends and surrounding days

RTO Rules: RTO Cannot occur within 14 days of start date; cannot exceed 7 days (however, if a job has sat open for weeks with little/no subs, please reach out to AM, and we will see if exception can be made)

Previous perm staff rules on returning: Cannot return to the same campus they were perm staff at within 24 months; they can return to another campus within Covenant Health after just 12 months

Travel teams that are related or married (spouses, family members) cannot work on same unit, please ensure they are submitted to different units if submitting to same location
