Additional Details:
Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Required certs: CEUs for Units Requiring NIHSS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Medical ICU mostly, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Stroke TPA/thrombectomy recovery. Target temperature management. They have a cath lab in house so ICU will receive patients directly back from cath lab.
RNs required to titrate drips as prescribed.
RNs should be able to read strips. There are no Monitor techs.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend unless they request to work more.
Holiday Requirement: Yes. If the unit has the need then the traveler RN is expected to work.
Call or standby requirement: If a travel RN is getting low censused, there is an expectation that they are on standby for that shift.
Floating Requirements: To our med/surg units as needed to take a full assignment.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Royal Blue
All RTO needs to be submitted prior to the start of the contract. (MUST be mentioned to traveler during pre-screen).
