Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Shifts : 2x12 Day (7am-7pm) / 2x8 day 7am-3pm alternating for a total of 40HRS A WEEK

START DATE: 11/4,11/18

Must interview for the position.

***ONLY 3 days of RTO ***travelers are required to work a full GWW every week ***ONLY 7 days OF RTO between contracts

Call requirements: up to 8 call shifts within an 8-week period. 60 minute response time for call.

Certs Preferred: BSN

Skills Required: Whipple, Intestinal, Kidney, Liver, Scrub Transplant Surgery, Hepatectomy. Must be able to circulate/scrub – Hepatobiliary, Kidney and Liver Transplants. We will consider someone who can circulate only, but prefer both skills

Patient Diagnosis: Liver, Pancreatic Cancer, Congenital Liver and Small Bowel Abnormalities

Special Procedures: Whipple, Pancreatectomy, Hepatectomy, Small Bowel Transplant, Liver Transplant (Peds and Adult)

Scrubs Provided; Color: Blue

RTO - RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Please ensure all RTO is for the full 13 weeks for each submittal Amount of RTO: Please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract - highly preferred. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
