Travel Allied (OT) - Occupational Therapy

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

OT Outpatient

Allied Clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints.

Schedule is Monday - Friday blocked with weekend requirement.

Weekend Requirement: Rotating every 6 weeks

Certifications: Neuro and lymphedema certs preferred.

On Call: None

Floating Requirement: Will float if needed. Floating is 100% required of all travelers - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by

Special Requirements:

-Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Outpatient, Adult Rehabilitation Facility.

-Required Adult Case Skills/Experience: CVA Rehabilitation, Traumatic brain injury, Lower Extremity, Other Progressive Neurological Disorders, Spinal cord injury, Upper Extremity.

-Required Modalities/Manual Skills/Therapies Skills/Experience: Electrical Stimulation, Ultrasound.

-Required Orthopedic Case Skills/Experience: Hip Fracture and Total Hip Replacement, Knee Injuries and Total Knee Replacement.

-Required Professional Skills and Knowledge: Lifting and transfer, Patient/Family Education, Safety and injury prevention, Telephone calls.

-Required Evaluation Tools: Cognitive Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluation, Functional Independence Measure (FIM), Other Perceptual Assessment.

-Required Billing/Documentation Skills/Experience: Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Plan of Care, Reassessments.

Scrub Color: Gray scrubs or professional business casual attire

Parking Cost: Parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

RTO – we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval.

Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer

Any Perm or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
